Big changes!

1 min read
Hello everyone! The later portion of 2015 until now has been full of movement regarding my photography. I've set up several different portfolios, started selling prints through a wholesaler and Fine Art America, I'm currently in contact with a few local galleries, a few jobs have been lining up...and, the big change? I'm now a volunteer photographer for the local animal shelter!
Every Friday, I get to be surrounded by beautiful animals, large, small, normal...and a bit exotic, in hopes of finding them homes--through art!
So, you will be seeing a lot of animal photos from me this year...and, we'll see what else! If anything can pull me out of my creative funk--this will be it.
I've also started playing around with paint--so, if anything comes of it, I may start posting paintings. We'll see!
Things are finally turning around, and I couldn't be happier!

Just a small update...
I've recently started offering a few prints over at Fine Art America, and will be removing the ones I have offered here.
If you're interested, you can view my page HERE.
I should have a few projects coming up, I apologize for my recent silence!

Thank you!

Hey all, I'm finally back. As you may have seen, I was having some computer problems last time-- I've managed to get my Asus working again, now, for how long? Who knows. But, at least I have it. I am unfortunately still without a lot of my files, I've been too busy to take my storage drive in for recovery, but I do intend on doing it relatively soon.

I've been pretty much living with my boyfriend for the past seven months, and in the past two I've finally started making the complete move. My internet connection back at my parents house was horrific at best, and he never had any here--but as of today, we're hooked up with a kickass connection, so I'll be uploading a bit more frequently, and higher resolutions/prints won't be such a problem.

Trying to get out for photos more often, and look for a job with morning hours and, of course, reliable pay--Perhaps that will mean new equipment?

Moving for the first time is definitely a crazy experience, and my mind seems to be going in ten different directions at once because of it. It's bittersweet leaving my folks, but I'm super happy here.

And as I may have mentioned in the past, I'm not entirely positive, my boyfriend does some photography/art himself, we've been talking about setting up a page for his work-- so keep an eye out!

Take care, all!

Where'd she go?

2 min read
Hey everyone! I'm sorry for my lack of submissions these days--- I'm not going out as much with the weather how it's been.
On top of that, the delay may last quite a bit longer--- My dear G72gx finally decided its life was full enough and can no longer manage a boot. I got it to last two more months last time, but this is it.
So I'm currently using my pre-vista Acer that can barely handle loading an internt browser let alone photo editing software...And, well, going from 17+ inches to only 14 is actually a much larger jump than I evr thought it would be.
With missing and broken keys to boot. I apologize for the missing es. I'm slamming it as hard as I can, but I'm tired of forcing it.

So, if any of you are Asus users and can recommend me a model to go for--I'd appreciate it greatly!
Clearly, I've complained about my internt connction before, so, the rpublic of gamers models aren't really necessary anymore..so, if I can gt a great multitasker for photography and other digital art needs out of one of their cheaper models, I just may go for it. But suggesting the gaming models isn't a total nogo! I'm just torn. I loved my g72, despite its few quirks. I'm just cheap. xP

I hope you're all doing wll!
I'll be back in time.

Go out for a walk, take a good 50 pictures...
Get home to realize you didn't have your SD card in--and your camera has no internal storage.
...Even though your lcd screen clearly flashes "NO CARD!"

The sun has already set since I've gotten back.
/Fail.

ALWAYS make sure you have your card!
